Memento Review

This film is about an investigator who is trying to revenge his wife's death by capturing her murder (so he thought) and got into an accident himself that night, where he can only remember shortly. So had to right down notes on a polaroid photos that he carries with him in the entire film, or tattoos himself.
This film first showed the ending of the story and worked his way to the beginning (basically telling the story backwards). Their were parts in the film that told a story but changed back to a beginning part (goes backwards) and leads to the ending scene again, following this routine continuously in the film until we reach the absolute end (the beginning).

The Library of Babel review

The story starts off by explaining the interior of the Universe ( Library), that it is shaped like a hexagon, with four wall of shelf books, on each floor. The narrator, who arrived to the library young, is now old and soon to past on., realized that this library is so old, that it had to be created by a god. He also said that he witnessed many people killing each other or going insane, just to find the answer of why this library exist. He also discover that in this library, that no two book are identical, and one of these book must have the answer to they question that everybody wished to discover. That is why he stayed in the library so long, just to find the answer of why this library exist.

The Circular Ruins review

This story is about a man who traveled far from his village because of a disease that affected his village, and came to another village that had a temple that was ruined by a fire. He jumped out of his boat and fell into the sacred mud, that healed him from the wounds he had before. He lied down on the floor of the ruins and slept. The minute he woke up, he was healed, but went back to sleep. In his dreams, he would dream of himself as a teacher teaching students, that don't really understand his lessons. He did this every night until he died, and said that this is what the gods wanted him to do.
The beginning scene starts from the front view of the house and leads into inside of the house. As we enter the house, we capture the dog and playing and sleeping. After the shooting this scene, we interview the owner. The owner is going to explain the history of the dog. After the interview, we will show the footage and photos from the past. The past photos will be shown in black and white. After this, doctor(present, daughter of the original doctor) will talk about the dog. At the end of the video, we will use the scene dog playing around and slowly fading out. While we show this scene, we will do voice-recording telling how it is still unknown how this dog lives so long.

Exit through the gift shop review

I feel that the believable part of this fictional documentary was the actual art the street artist created and how famous they got from the poplicuty. They became famous from one big showing, and then their art became known to the public with the chronicle art they distribute after that. But for terry who was already known from filming other street artist, became famous from that, because of his connection within the community like meeting Banksy. This was also why he because a famous street/ pop culture artist in one night.

I feel that the unbelievable part of this fictional documentary was the films that terry documented. He filmed all the actions that her happening during the street artist community, but he never showed is to the public, just kept it save and store in his workroom. Because no one knew about the realness of his participation in the art community, it would be consider unknown, and unreal.

I feel that the moral of the story is to message young artist that there is always a certain time in the world when certain style of work becomes popular. When you see this opportunity, take it, and you will go far as an artist. Just like how Terry walked into the beginning of the street pop culture, and was involve in it, encouraging him to be an artist and became a famous artist in a short period of time. I feel that personally what this movie is trying to say is that time is everything.
